*Typical mini-cell buffer volume is ~400–500 mL per run; actual usage varies by tank and protocol.
^†Rule of thumb for 2× buffer: buffer volume per lane = (load volume ÷ 2). For 100 gels at 10–20 µL loads and common well counts, 20 mL 2× comfortably exceeds requirements.

Good to know

• Store gels at 2–8 °C; avoid freezing. Keep buffers tightly capped; mix 2× sample buffer 1:1 with sample.
